It was great to sample both Peruvian & Japanese food at the same place. Wine list is good. Overall, excellent Peruvian and Japanese food.

The waiter was good. Just wasn't my cup of tea. I got the pork with the red sauce and it was tasty. My husband enjoyed his meal. My drink airtight I can't say the name was amazing it was like a blueberry martini

First timer, I suggest making reservation before showing up, it'll help speed things up. As well as looking at the menu before showing up. I ordered tostones rellenos, which I really recommend, palta rellena is a bit on the spicy side, but the flavor is delicious. Peacado a lo macho is a well served plate full of flavor. Overall, I feel like the price is a little steep, but it's definitely a restaurant with delicious food and attentive staff! I will definitely be returning back and trying out other food!

The sangria, both red and white, was really refreshing. The star of the meal though was the black ink paella, which was an off the menu feature. It was phenomenal! The octopus was cooked just right, not too chewy, and had a touch of teriyaki flavoring. It also had clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari.

What a great experience! The mix of Peruvian and Japanese flavors is both exciting and delicious. The peruvian ceviche ranked as the best ceviche I have had, with a mix of sweet and spicy that hits just right. The ropa vieja was also perfect, with deep flavors and that perfect sweetness of the plantains. The black beans and rice with it were also great, and tasted authentic without the chef trying to do too much with the black beans, which I think is often the problem with restaurant style black beans and rice. As far as atmosphere, the music is laid back, and helps you unwind and enjoy the experience. The patio is a great place to hang out on a nice day. Our waiter was also great at giving suggestions and explaining everything. It also appeared the wait staff was good at helping each other out because we had different people bringing us our food/ filling out glasses and drinks, so we never went long waiting for service.
