A year ago, I requested Skyview roofing to check and repair my leaking flat roof on my house extension. I was happy that even though they mostly do commercial businesses they accommodated my request and supposedly “replaced” and fixed my roof. No water run test was performed because they were not available on my days off. I trusted them because of the previous few good reviews. It doesn’t rain much and hard in the valley and so, it wasn’t until about April-May of this year that I noticed the roof was leaking again. I was told that the warranty was only 6 months from the time the job was done so at first I hesitated to contact them. But on July 27, 2020, I tried my luck and texted Pete Lugo, one of the Mangers/Owner of the business. He politely replied and said they would look into it. It is now September, and I never heard from him again. My complain is, although the job was just small and it was only worth less than 5,000 , I expected it would still withstand the regular rain and not leak worse than it used to. I am very disappointed. I could have just spent more and have the roof fixed the right way that would last me much longer. It’s not enough that they are nice. They need to be responsible for the job not well-done. I usually do not write bad reviews, but sometimes, it is needed to make people improve.
