In March, we had a student film in production for DePaul University cancelled the day before the event due to COVID-19 sending everyone into lockdown. While I understand there is no refund policy for cancelling that late. The cancellation was done the day before and was a relatively small order at only 250 (though this was a large chunk of our budget) and so it is likely that little to no expense was incurred by Marquee. To recap, Marquee took 250 from local students despite providing no services during unprecedented circumstances for the entire country. A more upstanding company would have been more helpful to their customers and their community by providing a refund or at the very least a credit.

I highly recommend not working here, especially for the Vinyl department. Workers are exploited and forced to stay overtime no matter what. There are even days where I was held at the warehouse from 7am-4am the next day with no extra breaks and this happens frequently. The wage for the extenuating amount of headaches caused by this department is very underwhelming.

Extremely poor customer service from Marquee Rental. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to resolve an issue regarding non delivery of the furniture to my event. Marquee has promised a refund. As of yet, it has yet to be received. No response from the company after numerous emails sent. I’ve tried to resolve this prior to posting this review but they will not respond. It’s has been over a month and we have not received our money back. Buyer/renter beware and ensure everything is delivered in its entirety. We were left embarrassed after charging customers a fee for vip seating and the seating was not delivered. We will never use this company again.
