To whom this may concern, our father passed away so I had to make a decision on where to bring him from the nursing home to a funeral home so i looked up funeral homes in my area and who had good reviews. Sounded logical to me. Until my sister, cousin and I went in person to discuss our fathers burial. He wanted a simple cremation and only a small gathering at his home due to him being a very private and humble person. He served in the Air Force for 24 years and due to his age most of his friends have passed and due to covid not many people would have traveled anyways. My family felt very rushed to have him cremated even we explained several times we would need extra 24 hours till my mother would be here from out of the country. Along with the funeral Director trying to upsell us double the price that 5 other funeral homes had quoted us. Neatless to say we had to move our father one last time to give him eternal rest. I read articles how females are being taken advantage of and also how burials are a huge money pit because people rely on the family being very much in grief but never did i think that a funeral home would up the price double in what others charge. I finally decided to leave after the Director did not appreciate our wish to have a small gathering and kept telling us about how he could host up to 50 people after i told him 3 times we would not be interested. I am not even sure how this is allowed during a pandemic. For that reason we felt very uncomfortable. I am not sure if we were taken advantage of because we are females, biracial minority or because we are in our late twenties and the person thought we would not know better but to me this matter was very disturbing and I am very happy we had friends to rely on to help us with this matter ....to everyone who is reading this : I am sorry for your loss. Best, Chani L

I can't say enough good things about this funeral home. From the time they picked up my Mother to the last day she was there I was very pleased through the entire process. They were kind, considerate and I felt comfortable having them handle the services needed. During a difficult time I found comfort here. Thank You so much!

I would highly recommend Cannon Cleveland for your lost loved one. They are kind, understanding and efficient. We worked with Craig Burnett and he was amazing. We lost two loved once in a two months time period and he was I director for both. He was just what we needed. We could never thank him enough for his kindness, gentleness and understanding to our family.

The staff at Cannon-Cleveland are wonderful. My husband for 56 years past July 11 2020 and they made things go the way we wanted. They let our family go in and say our good bye to him. This place is wonderfully amazing. I cant think they enough for the way they took care of him and my family.

Very compassionate and professional in 2003 with our Dad, 2017 with our Mom, and 2020 with our sister. If possible pre-plan and it will take a tremendous stress burden off of your shoulders. We had no problems and no issues with any of our Home Going Celebrations.
