My daughters have never been in child care before coming to this center. They absolutely love it here and the teachers are very pleasant and informative. Thank you for a great experience.

Sunbrook has been our only daycare provider since my son was 4 months old and he’s 3 now. My daughter who’s 11 months now, also attends school here since she’s been 6 weeks of age. That’s how confident, comfortable and excellent of service this school renders. I have no complaints about the quality of care the teachers and staff members have towards my children. When I drop them off, I have no doubt that they will be taken care of. If a minor issue does arise they will tell me about it immediately after it happens through call or at pick up and the issue is quickly resolved!! This place is like family to my children. That’s how warm and inviting the atmosphere is. They care about the concerns of the parents and children. Because the pandemic is still occurring they’ve placed protocols to ensure the safety of my children and during this time they made this transition comfortable and reassuring, given that parents are not allowed inside the building to minimize possible contamination of my children’s space. Sunbrook goes above and beyond the quality of care for my children’s needs and my needs to the point they provide empathy and grace towards parents such as myself who doesn’t want to miss precious moments. To my surprise in agreement, They’ve hosted my sons birthday party outside where I could remain present and visible but distant from the children given the safety protocols. Because of all of these things, Sunbrook will always be our forever daycare provider.
Sunbrook Academy at Luella is the best! We moved to the area and was very nervous about putting our 1 year old in care. The enrollment process and wonderful, even with not being able to come into the building, I know my child is well taken care of. He loves it and is learning so much! We recommend this place for anyone with young children!
Hesitant about posting this because I feel a lot of things are outside their control. The staff does not consistently wear masks during check in or out which made me uncomfortable. Ms Rashonda and Ms Jennifer are SO sweet and supportive! I really appreciated how attentive they were to my questions and concerns. However I felt that the way my son was cared for was definitely not acceptable. He used to come home with a rash weekly from not being wiped properly. He’s also come home with a full diaper on. They claim to use kid reports for progress updates for their kids but the app is NEVER kept up with ( no photos or other progress). It was very hard to keep up with my sons teacher unless I called during the day or after work which wasn’t always possible. My son would come home in such a bad mood from not taking a nap and dealing with that was beyond exhausting (and his teacher offered no solutions for this even after voicing my concerns about it). I feel bad saying this but I felt it was necessary. I feel like this center could be saved if there were consistent staff and the current staff was held accountable. Too many kids, too little teachers. I tried so hard not to pull my child out but I felt it was best. I pray this is not the case for other parents and others can get the care their child needs!
I am shocked to read the last review because I, unfortunately, have to agree 100%. That is exactly the reason we left. My child came home with a soaked diaper daily and sometimes wet clothing, we mention it almost daily, the answer was always we talk to the teacher and we have staff meeting about it. That was 3 month ago and I can’t believe it’s an ongoing problem. I could tell my child was not happy, tears at drop of and tears of relieve that the day was over at pick up. The office staff is good, but I heard so many parents complain about the same issues and it’s scary that nothing is being done. Changing a diaper is the bare minimum of a teachers job.
