Best place for starting out. I would suggest disregarding the other comments, because it seems as though they are posting those comments to try to stop people from going so they would run out of business or something. The place has an awesome snack bar and friendly/helpful staff. There is also a gun shop in store to buy more ammo or even a new weapon. Come on down to try it!

The referee/owner of the buisness was absolutely horrific with the way he treated the customers, especially the children. I participated in 3 of the matches with a friend of mine. The first and second went well, it then began going downhill. At the end of the second the owner of the attraction went off on a rant, mistreating a fairly young child of how he cheated. The man may have been correct to inform the child but he has no right to flip on him. As a punishment, he made the next game be the most basic and boring game mode to try and "teach" us a lesson. When all he was showing us was how he was incapable of running a business like so. I left after my 3rd game but my friend stayed for a 4th. After the game was over he gave me a call describing a short story to me something like this. "The referee was playing this game and he was on the other team, he was hit by one of my teammates but I accidentally shot him a second after. He became very frustrated. Later into the game the same referee came up behind me. I shot him out fair and square, but because this ref was mad he held his CO2 pistol up to my hand and shot it 2 times leaving 2 bloody and extremely painful scars. He screamed "Call your shots!!" at me then walked away". I am never going back there and neither is my friend. I am writing this to save you from either (if your a parent) having your children abused or being purposely injured by the owner. Maybe just go bowling.

October Is now

When some friends and I went here a while back we quickly realized the immaturity of some of the staff and their bad behavior even with many small kids on the field. Also that yelling/bullying kind of behavior isn't appreciated towards these young kids, you're more than welcome to correct the kid for (if) they broke the rules or misbehavior. However intimidating young kids isn't any way to generate revenue. I'd keep a keen eye on how your children are treated here folks. I do believe it is the owner of this place who was specifically caused problems.

the actual arena is very nice sized and well build. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THIS PLACE TREATS THE REGULARS(PEOPLE WHO GO OFTEN) BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T, DO NOT GO HERE, I WOULD SUGGEST GOING TO 3 RIVERS OR BATTLEGROUNG

Awful. I live in Latrobe, it was definitely not worth the drive. I was very excited to play there and was let down. The "events" are not planned well, the place is made of cheap plywood, 7 year old kids playing kills the vibe. Even when you sign the waiver, you HAVE TO wear one of their full face masks instead of goggles and a bandana. The room is a hot as hell. Their ventilation is just a couple of industrial fans. When your mask fogs up, are not allowed to take your mask off in game or else you will not be allowed to play. So, you have to walk back to the staging area to wipe off your mask and go back to your "Spawn" (What is this Call of Duty?!) and by the time you make it back, your mask is fogged up again. By the way, water cost money, so if you plan on getting heat stroke, this is the place for you! Also one biggie; FPS reducer. You cannot bring a gun that shoots over 330 FPS (which is near nothing), so don't plan on bringing any quality AEG or even going at all. I left without even shooting anybody or getting shot. Two thumbs down, half a star, a total waste of time and money.

Everyone there is really nice and helpful, a guy on the other team GAVE me a reducer for my ak as a gift because it was shooting too hot. The facility is great too and there are lots of different game modes that they do.

Steel city airsoft is a great place to spend a whole day there. Biggest thing respect the staff/refs and you will have a great time. If not they will yell and let everybody know about a problem and make it clear that they don't want to see it again ex full auto on the field, taking your mask off the field etc. They offer pop, energy drinks, Gatorade, water, chips etc. You can get to know everybody well even the players. The refs play also and they have a variety of gamemodes to keep you busy all day. Also very reasonable pricing for admission and if you forget something like your gun, mask etc, you can rent them there. You can bring your younglings also because they ABSOLUTELY do not accept profanity at all so it's an appropriate environment for little ones also. Come have fun and "See you on the field".
