The Intersection has been wonderful to my family this past year. They have always helped with a food bank but this year they have went out of their way to help us thru this terrible time. My father past away in Sept 2019 and then in the first of Oct. my little brother ended up with a scratch that caused a blood infection. He ended up having to get a heart valve replaced thru open heart surgery. The Intersection was always able to drop our food bank off at the house. Karen and Debbie are definitely God's angels. My family can not express the gratitude we feel for these women Thank you from the bottom of our . Darla, Jonathan, Joshua and Jacob Stercula. Thank you so very much and God Bless. Mckeesport is blessed to have your agency helping out the community. So many families are struggling to make ends meet. It is not always easy to ask for help. Karen and Debbie make sure to help families feel comfortable and not embarrassed.

Intersection is there to HELP....Not to supply every need. The Pantry gives enough food to last for about three days. Take into consideration the number of people that come thru the doors. Hundreds are served every month. Those that need extra help will get it for a while, until their circumstances improve. The lunch program is generally for those that are homeless or are in situations where they have no cooking facilities where they live. Intersection does much more than feed people. They help with clothing, obtaining photo I.d., birth certificates, and utility bills and rent, provide bus tickets for transportation to Dr appointments, the purchase of used appliances and so much more. The Pantry is a small part of the operation. The staff are helpful and kind. I read Rich Coddingtons review and I disagree, 100%.
