i came to select specialty as a recovering covid patient following my stay in another hospital and still in need of intensive care. in my almost 3 weeks there, i was the beneficiary of excellent medical attention. not that every staff member was my cup of tea, but i never felt as though i wasn't being cared for and there were some rock star care providers, at that!! select absolutely got me up and running and ready to face the next phase of my recovery with confidence and the assurance that they were available for consultation, should i need it. God willing, i will never have to return, but if that should be the case, or if a loved one needed similar care, select specialty/mckeesport would be the place to go. a huge heartfelt thank you to all of those who were instrumental in that phase of my recovery! God bless you, keep you and encourage you in serving your patients with loving kindness and continued professional excellence!

They offered everything i needed both medically and helping with my overall needs The medical staff were superb. They addressed my medical needs very in depth. That had been missed in earlier care. The nursing staff were superb! Very attentive To all my needs

Don't waste ur time. This place is a joke, first off I have to share chairs cuz they don't have enough. Àides r rude,. Some turn off the light tell you that they well be back and leave

I am convinced this particular facility helped save my mother's life, and fully contribute her incredible recovery to LTAC (long term acute care). Had we not been informed of this program, she wouldve gone straight to skilled nursing - and I am positive she would not have made such HUGE progress in recovery. From the admissions liason, to the nurses and doctors, they are on top of everything! FULL and attentive staff, nurses and doctors continuously called with updates. The liason spent hours on the phone with me (on the *weekend*, and even texted from her cell phone). The dietician even spent a long time speaking with me! Most importantly, one of the nurses found a potentially life threatening upper extremity clot (that had not been found or treated by the hospital she was transferred from). Our family just can not say enough or be thankful enough to the wonderful and thoroughly attentive, highly skilled staff for the care she recieved here. Highly recommend, five stars isn't enough. Thank you Select Specialty of Mckeesport!!!
