This was the first time I rented an RV from El Monte. The service was excellent. They explained each and every amenities available and how to use it. I would definitely come back and rent again.

Very rude and no interest in answering any questions. The most disinterested unaccommodating folks I have come across in awhile. They are around the corner from us but worth it to drive to a different rental place further away for better service and products.

Was wanting to rent an RV before buying so stopped by to ask a few questions. When I was told I couldn’t tow with a rental RV that put renting out as an option. The person assisting us said we could buy one and tow since it would be ours. He said this somewhat sarcastically as well. When I inquired as to looking at some of what they had he stated they couldn’t show us anything because of Covid. Interesting. You can test drive a car but can’t look at an RV. You can walk through a home that’s for sale but can’t walk through an RV. So apparently they expect you to purchase an RV from them without looking at it first? Good luck with that. No wonder the parking lot was completely empty and we were the only customers there. I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere. Somewhere that believes in customer service. If the service is this bad up front when they are trying to make a sale, I can only imagine how bad it would be after. Good to find this out now and not after.

The Average Schmo Life & Fitness

My son and I rode our bikes there to pick up our bus reservation. Nobody informed me that we could leave our car parked there otherwise I would have driven. I waited outside for 10 minutes for my “appointment” while there were 5 employees and no customers in the lobby. The sign on the door said to call a number if you had an appointment. I called the number 4 times each time going to voicemail, all while there were 5 employees inside. Finally a guy opens the door and the first thing he says is “so what are you going to do with those bikes?” I was confused but he followed it up with another question. After all his questioning he ask if I had a reservation. No greeting, or maybe a “how are you.”?? Unbelievable! I didn’t have the paperwork that they wanted and They wanted me to do all the paperwork over again. Then they told me that I needed their liability but not the damage waiver but that even if I bought it there were things that were not going to be covered. The man that was explaining it was repeating the same line when I was trying to clarify something. Kept repeating it over and over again. It was just really bad customer service. I was already prepared to pay 3,000 for 5 days and they just could not get it right. I cancelled on the spot. I will never return to this location ever.

They treated us better than we deserved honestly......after my 5 member family made their dent (literally) on that FREAKING AMAZING RV we rented. We SO recommend this sweet, kind, uber professional group. I can't wait to rent again. #notapaidpromotion
