Great place to visit with kids. My 3 year old was scared at first, but later she enjoyed the dinosaurs. It’s quite educational for adults too, and everyone can enjoy a gentle exercise by walking the trail.

My husband and I really enjoyed this place while we were on vacation!! Absolutely beautiful!! The wildlife amazing!! A snake ran across the path we were walking!!! I can't express how amazing this place is!!

what a great experience. My wife and I brought our 2 year old and we all had such a great day. One or two of the dinosaurs did scare my son a little, but that was much better than expected as he's never experienced anything like this before. The trails are perfect for younger family members and the wetlands portion of the duck trail was incredible. I used a kid carrier backpack though some families did used jogging strollers with large wheels. One family had a normal stroller they they seemed to be struggling when we passed them. Absolutely recommended and will definitely make visit again.

If you love nature this is the place to be. It’s a great place to expose your child to the Blackland prairie, or what the Dallas area resides on top of. There’s great volunteering options, homeschooling programs, a wonderful children’s museum and incredible rescued animals that impress all. The volunteering opportunities are great, despite the current covid pause. Take your kids here if you’re looking to get out and about during this whole pandemic, the tickets can be bought online and you can have a covid-safe experience outdoors while simultaneously teaching your young ones (and even keep your teen off their cellphone for awhile!)

Amazing nature areas. The best trails I have found in the Dallas area so far. The museum itself is not much but the trails are great. In particular the Wood Duck Trail goes through a very vibrant swamp. I truly enjoyed the hike.
