I had a terrible experience with One Medical today. When I saw my Dr I requested for my prescriptions to be sent to pharmacy near my home. Not even an hour later I remembered that that specific pharmacy closes sooner than normal pharmacies. I called and email and requested for them to transfer the prescription to another pharmacy so I could pick them up. I spoke to Travis or Trevor (I don't remember his name) and he said that he was going to contact the pharmacy and request the transfer and then call me back. But he never did and then I receive an email stating that after hours requests are processed during the next business day. I'm so surprised that they didn't explained this over the phone and sent a generic email. It clearly shows that their patient's health is not important at all. I'm really frustrated and going to the Dr today was completely useless for me. For sure, my husband and I are going to deactivate and cancel our One Medical accounts because they are not up to the standards of what they proudly use as a selling point. This is all false advertising and it sad that people going through difficult times have to endure situations like this.

Such a great service for a reasonable cost! No matter the location, they always see you on time and I've never had a bad experience with the different physicians or with their mobile video chat service. I love that you can get in on such little notice too.

Switched doctors and this was the closest office to me. The building is immaculate, the staff is very friendly, and the doctors are really informative, and listen to all of your concerns. The only thing I can say is that I wish I knew about this place sooner!

I can’t say enough positive things about One Medical. In a time where health care has only gotten more complex, OM takes out so much of the stress of being proactive about your health and ultimately feeling well. From the same day appointments, digital script refills, and virtual care - it’s an incredible service that’s worth far more than the 200 annual fee. Unfortunately I switched insurance to CareFirst this year and the company has been in a long argument with OM about their cost of services. OM was very transparent and apologetic about the situation and I genuinely believe they’re working to find an amicable solution. I’ve had to use my out of network benefits for reimbursement but they also recommended I use the free, virtual care for any non-critical needs.The OM quality of care and service ease of use if so superior to anyone else in the area, I really don't mind paying out of network for a couple appointments a year. Specific to the Tyson’s location, Dr. Julia Lim is a saint and takes a very global, empathetic approach to patient care. On the support team, Nae at the front desk is always a ray of sunshine and Kimberli in phlebotomy has gone above and beyond any ‘lab work expectations’ in helping me process a complicated lab order for an outside specialist. 10/10, I’d recommend One Medical to anyone looking for PCP care!
