Had a horrible experience! I was contacted via the agency, which is always good! They wanted to setup a time to speak more about the role. I replied with my availability, then it went down hill from there. The potential call to setup was just a simple phone screening (10- 15 Min MAX). After I responded with the time to speak, the recruiter was simply asking a single question at a time. This exchange lasted 2-3 emails long. It frustrates me to know since at the time of the email I did not live in the DC area, I was rejected right then and there!! I wish I was able to speak with them to gain more insights about the area since they deal a lot with recruiting, I would assume, in the DC Metro area. Please consider this if you are planning to relocate to DC...

I tried Sparks Group several months ago and it was pointless. I worked with Serena Sorentino who was helpful at first but after sending me around VA for \interviews\, I could no longer get in touch with her, she stopped answering my calls and email. She sent me on two interviews and both job descriptions that she gave me were completely in accurate and wrong. Very unprofessional, if you can not help someone then refer them to someone who will take the time to help and match them up with a job they are looking for. I would not recommend working with Sparks Group or Serena.

I am so impressed with how everything was handled with my job search. Within two weeks they had me in a contact to hire position. Sparks also offers insurance for you or family. I worked with Dana at the Chantilly office and highly recommend her and her team. Was so informative, quick to reply to any questions, and really seemed to want me to succeed in my job search. Talk to a woman on the phone and basically laughed at me about my situation. She didn't even give me a chance to explain myself and just hung up on me without saying anything. Don't work with them.
