Rented this cabin for a short weekend getaway with my husband and our dog. It was perfect! We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace with a nice cup of coffee in the morning, and a cup of hot cocoa in the afternoon. It's perfectly cozy, and the views are breathtaking!

We had a wonderful weekend! Unfortunally the weather was bad but we enjoy the inside fire place and peaceful weekend

I booked a couple of days with the goal of unplugging and keeping away from the internet. The cabin is in a cabin subdivision of sorts that call itself \villages at Blue ridge passage resort\. There are about 2 dozen cabins, all appear to have the same exterior design and floor plan. Over all the cabin is very nice, comfortable. The price was decent. There is internet access but I chose to refrain. The views on the website are visible by walking up the hill a minute or two and they are amazing. There is a short walking trail close by. The cabin itself is down a short stairway so if you have mobility issues you may want to consider a different cabin. They have a space heater which does it's job well. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and other items. They also provided paper products (toilet paper, paper towels) and towels and sheets. The area is fairly quiet except for road noise and another guest's dog a couple doors down. There are no street lights so the stars where clearly visible much to my delight. I would recommend bringing a flashlight if you bring your dog for this same reason. The only minor complaints (of you could call them that) was that the cabin itself creaked a lot, I'm sure it's just the nature of the building, the bed was a little hard for my preference, and the cabin was not as isolated as I had anticipated. All in all, I had a lovely time reading on the deck, and in front of the fireplace. My dog enjoyed the new smells but was not too sure about the bathroom floor. The wine cork flooring was a little bumpy. I am not sure if I would return to this location but, for a first time mountain trip, it was very nice. I would recommend booking here.

We have stayed multiple time at this log cabin resort area. Simple, beautiful, and relaxing. Highly recommended to couples, friends, and small families!

Wow! This cabin was awesome! We stayed in #12 in April 2019. Everything about the cabin was perfect. From the full kitchen to the washer and dryer to the comfy beds to the relaxed back porch, this cabin was a true retreat from the busyness of life. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had no complaints or even suggestions. Wifi worked just fine. The hot water was hot. I'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone, families or groups or single travelers.
