Great place! We ditched going up to the rim as it was way too commercialized in my opinion. Visited the ranch instead and met some really nice and welcoming people (compared to the grumpy people working up on the rim). The heli-ride was 200 per person and worth every penny. The pilot named Johnny is a really lovable guy who gave us an experience I'll never forget.

Best Helicopter tour to Grand Canyon! Personal and friendly approach by our pilot Rick. It was lot of fun. Also we felt very safe with Rick. I really recommend Wild West Helicopters to visit Grand Canyon. Better and more personal than big tours from Vegas.

If you’re looking for a personalized experience over the commercialized tours, this is your place, you won’t be disappointed! We wish we had more time to spend at the ranch, but definitely plan on returning. Thanks so much for an amazing adventure!
Fabulous flight over the canyon with Wade. Really friendly company - everyone at the ranch made us very welcome. This was our first helicopter flight and it wasn’t scary at all! Loved the time in the canyon and the snippets of information from Wade. We hired a car in Vegas and drove to the ranch. It took less than 2 hours and was an easy drive - great to see the surrounding country and have a break from the crazy. Also much better value than the tours from Vegas itself. Would definitely recommend this company.
So happy we chose this place last summer. We were a small group and thoroughly enjoyed with our pilot who was an absolute flying enthusiast. Much much better than any of the mass market alternatives. We received a nice and warm welcome and a great flight. We could choose what to focus on and how the flight goes on. Nearby ranch is a gem as well.
