It is always a joy to stop in to the Twisted Knitter when we are in Mebane. Kimberly always greats us and is so engaged. She helps you find what you need for your project. My 10 year old son loves to crochet, and Kimberly always encourages and supports him. The shop has very high quality yarns from small producers. It is so with your time to stop in.

This is a sweet yarn shop! Lots of great yarns, many from local dyers! I also indulged in my first set of Lykke interchangeable needles here, and they are wonderful to use! Would definitely recommend checking this shop out if you’re in the area!

I’ve been to several yarn stores across the country and luckily this is my local yarn store since it’s my favorite. Kim is always helpful and enthusiastic about your projects and super helpful with the math and gauge and yardage if you get stumped by that. She also is quite talented at remembering her customers names. . The store is a comfy welcoming atmosphere for when you just want to sit and knit.
