The Real E-Rock

Johnson needs to be up front with their customers that Horizon - the company whose treadmills they sell - can NOT be trusted whatsoever. I bought a Horizon treadmill from Johnson in October 2020. In January 2021, I started experiencing issues with it. I tried to open a repair ticket with Horizon, but got no response after they promised a response within 14 days. I had to contact Horizon twice before I could get a response from them, at which point they told me to contact Shaffer (the third-party repair company) directly to schedule an appointment. The rep from Shaffer (great guy, and I have no complaints about them WHATSOEVER) made some minor fixes to my treadmill, but told me I needed a new deck and belt, and that he'd put the request in directly with Horizon for the new parts. Once I received them, I was to call Shaffer to schedule appointment #2. This was almost eight weeks ago. I have contacted Shaffer twice to ask why I haven't received the parts yet. They said Horizon won't even return their phone calls. He said Horizon has not contact them in any way whatsoever. And this goes for all repair cases that they're currently working, not just mine. I called Johnson to complain about this, and got through to someone who blamed the pandemic and told me - essentially - that I just needed to remain patient. I have since e-mailed another person at Johnson (who I originally worked with for my purchase) to ask if there was anything he can do to make this case move along quicker and I have been IGNORED. Two e-mails to them. No responses. So, buyer beware...if you buy a Horizon product from Johnson and have any issues with it, you will get nowhere with repairs because Horizon doesn't care about their customers. And, if you go back to Johnson to complain, they won't help you, either. They have your money and that's all that matters.

I had just finished cancelling my membership to Planet Fitness as I decided to build an indoor gym. As equipment is regularly out of stock, I figured I'd try my luck here. Jim was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He checked inventory for me several times and answered several questions I had. I was very impressed with the customer service I received. I will definitely be shopping here for any of my fitness needs in the future. A in customer service!

Excellent service and preorder help from Rob. Rob answered numerous questions about the AMT 835. Rob went the extra mile to insure the measurements of the machine would work in my home gym. He worked with me to get the AMT 835 floor model with the least hours. Very helpful to work the warranty agreement. The installation crew was professional. They did an excellent job checking the machine before leaving. Overall an outstanding experience. I recommend them highly.
