Don't bother for refractory eye vision correction prescription. Took my wife 2 times, both prescriptions were WRONG! Ordered multiple eye glasses with the prescription online both times trying to save money because theirs are very expensive...First time the prescription was wrong, the online glasses company took them back for exchanging a new prescription. Wouldn't go for that a 2nd time with another wrong prescription...wasn't their fault. The prescription was wrong. I was baffled, especially making this mistake twice. My insurance company is allowing us to now to go to another place but we are out 350 with glasses that are useless. Oh and we had the first appointment of the day both times and Dr. Vincent was late about a half hour each time.

I am very disappointed with Ohio Eye Care. First, they are now associated with Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons. That’s fine unless you are seeking a 2nd opinion to Northeast OH Eye surgeons. The front desk doesn’t share this with callers. I found out when I was in the eye exam. When do they plan to change their name so that people know? They apparently merged in Aug of 2020. My appointment did not work out well with Dr Fernandez. I made it clear that I wanted her to determine what was causing my dry, itchy, red eyes. She prescribed an eye drop. It didn’t work. When I called to inform her and her office and requested a different drop without coming in due to Covid, much to my surprise she subscribed it without actually knowing what the problem was. She had not made a diagnosis and would not prescribe another drop without having me return for tests. Why weren’t these tests done when I was there the first time???? Why was the drops chosen a guessing game? Very disappointing. And, if eye drops are a trial and error approach, then most certainly she should be willing to prescribe another eye drop without additional visits. My appointment was over 100 after insurance and I did not receive a diagnosis or an appropriate treatment. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

They are so confused with vision insurance and medical insurance. In spite of clarifying and speaking to customer care of my insurance, they have charged me copay even when my insurance has no copay. They have not filed the claim properly. In addition Dr. Chi visit was all about spending time in waiting area. He does not explain anything and to me it's a bad service overall. Waited for 1 hour after dilation, last 30 mins wait was unnecessary. Dr. Chi was not even apologetic. It's a practice to loot and waste people's time.

Scheduling seems to be a problem here. The average wait for a routine eye check is 30-45 minutes. The wait time for Dr. Chi is well over an hour, even for appointments scheduled early in the day. Doctors are competent but not sure if it’s worth the wait!

Ohio Eye Care has been ready to help whenever I need them. My most recent was on Saturday as they were closing I called with an emergency and they resolved my situation and scheduled me a doctor check first thing Monday morning. Everyone was so pleasant and willing to help. The optical department has updated frames and the optician on staff is very knowledgeable. I always get compliments on the frames he fits me with. Great place to do business.
