Great experience start to finish! From the initial quote to the install, there was good communication and timely appointments until final service was accomplished. Any question I asked were answered and they do their absolute best to provide excellent customer service. As I was getting quotes, I heard Excel was the best solar company for our pool in the area and now I understand why.

The process was a breeze, starting with Glenda, an amazing coordinator, then Justin, very knowledgeable and explaining the benefits and obtaining the permit in a timely manner, and ending with the installation team that was super professional and thorough. THE BEST OF THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY: What I have experienced with the team of Excel Solar over the years and most importantly with the recent replacement of a 12 year old solar water heater has been \consistent first rate customer service at its very best\. Over time, from phone calls to inquire about my solar system's needs to scheduling maintenance, their response and follow-up has never fallen short of excellence. Excel Solar is why my solar system supported my home for 12 years. The most recent need for my system was a new water heater. The lower portion of the tank had deteriorated and it was starting to weep. I needed a replacement fast, before the tank had a blowout. I called on a Wednesday and was greeted by administrative assistant Glenda. Her superb management and communication skills, and pursuit to get me the information I needed and convey to me the options I had, resulted in the ideal water tank being installed as well as various support components replaced or overhauled. This was done by Friday, 2 days after my initial call. Technician David installed the new tank and overhauled the system as needed to ensure it was on line and performing optimally. His professional expertise and attention to detail, especially with mechanical fabrication, sets the example for others to emulate. Job completion was highlighted \in the details\ - - - all components and piping aligned, perfect welds and a hot water solar system that looked picture perfect. These two individuals (Glenda and David) epitomize the standards and expectations a customer wants when dealing with any business. This is what I have experienced over the years with the team members of Excel Solar, no matter who I have been in touch with - - - knowledgeable, supportive, follow-through and follow-up. Excel Solar did a great job on our new solar pool heater installation. I wasn’t sure how this would play out during the pandemic, but as it turned out, it was very easy. Justin did an initial assessment using online tools, and then came out and did full estimate while maintaining social distance. The permitting process took longer than usual as the county worked through how to keep business moving in the midst of shutdowns. We were kept up to date through the whole process and our install was scheduled as soon permits were in order. The installation was done professionally, responsibly and efficiently and our pool was 10 deg F warmer in a day. Awesome! Thanks Excel!
I can’t say enough about the great service we experienced with Excel Solar. Our unit was installed 8 years ago by another local solar company. Due to the Covid virus, that company did not survive. We were selling our house and discovered we had a big problem with our solar unit that had to be resolved before things could proceed with the sale. Who to call? No referrals or anything, we picked Excel from a list on Google. The staff was so friendly and understood our need. They sent a service tech and he diagnosed our problem. Parts were ordered and within a few days, our solar unit was repaired. If you need service or are thinking about installing a solar unit, please give them a call. You won’t regret it.
