There are droppings that people did not pick up all over. I understand it is the middle of winter but you should still be picking up after your dog.

Excellent park and pavilion area, it's conveniently close to the pool and the play area is massive and enclosed. I couldn't give it a higher recommendation.

What a nice park for dogs! It has two separate areas. I just wish people would clean up after their dogs a little bit better.

Many people bring aggressive dogs here despite the fact it is a public park. I worry about the safety of more submissive dogs. Also, most people don't bother to clean up after their dogs. You can't walk ten feet without stepping in dog feces.

The kids and I have been spending time at the pool. We almost forgot it was even there because we were so used to it being closed. You have to pay to get in. You can pay per person, or you can pay 25 and get a punch card with 5 spots on it. I don't know what it is per person, so I don't know which is a better deal. Anyway, there are some snacks; chips, pop, candy and ice cream. They have life vests for the kids, and at NO COST to you! Just give them your DL and then pick a vest. They will hold on to your license until they get the vest back. RULES: there is not a diving board at this pool, but they do allow kids to jump in on the sides of the pool, one 15 minute break every hour for the kids, no running, and kids in life vest MUST be monitored if they are in the deep side of the pool. There are two slides, they are enclosed and they go into the water. Kids and adults are both welcome to go down the slides, but the kids have to pass a swim test first. One of the life guards will observe while the child swims across the width of the pool and determine if they are a strong enough swimmer to go down the slide. No life vests on the slide. Once a child has passed the swim test they get a bracelet as proof. While 80% of the swim area is in direct sunlight and on concrete, the other 20% is in the grass and about 5% of that is shaded. The only shaded areas are the two giant umbrellas with sitting areas and I believe they also have table space. The grass seems to be a good spot for other games like catch. There is a bathroom and shower area. The pool seems clean, but we know how community pools are. There is a life guard for each section. The toddler section is incredibly shallow and perfect for small kids, there is also a waterfall effect for them. There is a 41/2 ft and a 51/2 ft as well. After about two hours of swimming we go to the actual park and play the floor is lava while we dry off.
