While in Memphis we stopped at Genghis Grill. The staff was busy as a constant flow of people come to pick up their food. The food was good not great and staff was OK

Food was excellent, great, fresh. The staff can use a bit of training. This was the first time visiting this Mongolian grill chain, excellent food, hot and fresh. Walking out I was happy with the portion option and food. All three of us had to ask for instructions, the person taking our order assumed we knew what we were doing. There are no instructions pertaining to the process of ordering. We were told to pick a bowl not knowing what for. They ended up mixing up our order, adding two different sauces to my bowl and none to another, making his meal too dry to eat. As. Diabetic and his added sauce I had to cut the meal in half to eat it. The dry bowl recipient ended up walking up to the bar and adding cold sauce to make his meal edible. I know this sounds like a ton of issues, but it just seems training should be implemented. Staff should work as a team, seemed no one knew what the other was doing or saying.
Where do I begin? First, let me start with the poor demeanor and work ethic of the staff members at this location. I’ve been to this location multiple times, and the experience has not changed at all. It is extremely understaffed and the workers are of course overwhelmed but there has to be a level of will power in that matter. The woman at the front stays focused on her phone with no attention to the amount of people waiting in line to be served. There is only ONE employee in charge of preparing the food for the long lines that are inevitable at this location making it unbearable to be patient here. It is ridiculous and extremely dangerous for one employee to handle both the raw meats and vegetables with one set of gloves. The chefs have no clue how to properly cook the meat. The outside is burnt but the interior of the meat is raw and I just find that astonishing knowing their main responsibility as chefs would be to properly cook. It’s not difficult whatsoever but like I mentioned the staff members here are rude and have no will power.Hey manager if you are watching this then you should be concerned for your status because this location is losing much respect and money.

The food was delicious. We will definitely be returning again. If I could make any recommendations it would be these 2. First make sure you get at least 2 cups of sauce for your bowl unless you like it dry. I got 2 but my wife only got one and hers was very dry but good none the less. Second, I wish they gave a second serving bowl for the vegetables. I felt like I got plenty of meat and noodles but very little vegetables because they have to try and jam them in the same small bowl. Also, I got a large bowl and my wife got a normal and they were basically the same size just for your cost consideration.
I hadn't been here for a while maybe a year and I have to say that the ambiance and the look and feel of the restaurant has went down! One of the workers had on ear buds and he was cussing and airing out all his personal business while we were in line getting our food fix. The young lady actually making our bowls was great but overall experience on yesterday wasn't great. My food was good but you could tell things changed in a year's time!
This was my 1st time coming here. The food was good. However, the atmosphere was not welcoming or relaxing. The employees were stressed out. From the servers to the ones piling up your bowl. Whatever management is doing please stop! 4 stars for the food. 0 stars for the manager stressing all those young folks out under their care.
Uncooked chicken and shrimp. I had to go ask twice for it to be cooked, yet still uncooked. Lady working at the front has headphones on and is very unprofessional.
