The doctors here are excellent, especially once you actually see them but this is otherwise a very poorly run operation. Expect to regularly wait at least 90 minutes before being called back for your appointment (over 5 visits, I never waited less than this). The billing is done through a UT service center, and expect to have billing done incorrectly. I spent a ton of time calling to have billing corrected (e.g., wrong doctor billed, claim sent to wrong location, etc). It’s also very difficult to get in touch with someone at the office you need because there’s one central number that you’ll be on hold with before you reach someone. Just a lot of things across the board that have really soured the experience with Hamilton Eye, especially since the doctors are so great. At the end of the day, the patient care is good enough that I don’t want to switch eye doctors.

I have been treated for Glaucoma and Cataracts at Hamilton for over 5 years. The best Drs. And support. Surgery center is excellent.

The physicians are friendly, and answer any questions I have about my vision/treatment. I have little to no wait time. The triage nurse is prompt calling me back when I have an emergency concerning the eye. It's a great place and I recommend the facility!

The surgery scheduler, LaShandra is the absolute most UNPROFFESSIONAL lady I have ever dealt with. She does not return calls and doesn't give you the time of day for anything. I am OVER this facility. I will NEVER return, you are treated like a POS.

There seems to be failure in getting patients scheduled for their surgery. Most patients have to have a driver following surgery, said driver is most likely a family member or friend who has to also schedule the time off from their employer. The day before surgery is not enough time for people to make their arrangements for the time off. The surgery center staff should take a look at a better process of scheduling surgeries and have patients scheduled appropriately more than 24 hour notice. It's like an assembly line and there are better processes for scheduling surgeries.
