This is the type of place you would recommend and rave about to friends and family. I can see why it is so popular. MAKE A RESERVATION or you will missed out. Authentic Italian with amazing unique dishes at an affordable price! The owner is from central italy: Romagna. He was out serving customers and is very personable! Once seated, service and food was A, fast and efficient. Cleanliness was top notch even with Covid circumstance. The garden area is beautiful with tables that are spaced out and heat lamps provided. The menu is large with lots of specials. Keep in mind, portions are large/ shareable and many customers are leaving with leftovers! All the dishes were AMAZINGLY delicious. I ordered: Bruschetta combo the orecchioni with pesto Penne al sangiovese Tiramisu Espresso Dinner also came with warm bread/ olive oil/ balsamic vinegar. All of them were so impressive. If I were to recommend THE dish to have, it is definitely the penne al Sangiovese. It was so unique, rich with red wine cream sauce. Worth coming to Mendocino just for this!

All just fine. They have adapted to the current situation with energy and grace. Great complimentary focaccia. Classic Italian American menu. Good wine selection.

Food was moderately tasty and the portion was large. The garden for outdoor dining has warmers. Felt like dining in a family feast due to its large portion and presentation. Not an upscale place: but good for a family dinner - the greeter was very nice; waitresses seemed to try hard but disappeared after plopping down plates on our table.
