Disappointed. Small room with filthy windows so seeing the ocean wasn't pleasant. No breakfast and wasn't told. I've been here often. Should have been better and hard time getting anyone. Looking for it to be better...

Celebrated an anniversary here and had great time here. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. Best dish we had was their scallops appetizer, delicious! Every course was perfectly heated to that just right temp, sounds small but makes a difference. Nice seating options, can see sunset. Also save room for dessert if you can, their ice cream was yummy.
Asking for the cheque is the worst part! Mollie and her team are consummate professionals who take exceptional care of their diners. You could eat and drink endlessly till you heart and tummy are full of joy and laughter. Six stars! P.s. props to Serenity for the double shift!
It was the last night of our honeymoon and we were looking for a great meal on the north coast. This restaurant came highly recommended from several friends. The food was fantastic, but the service and the way they are handling Covid is kind of absurd. Counter service and finding a table hunger games style when you're paying 30 a plate for dinner, 15 for a glass of wine, 15 for an appetizer, etc, is fairly outrageous. I get seating people outside and trying to minimize contact with servers. But the servers had trouble finding people with the number placards and no assigned tables or sections, wait times for meals varied all over the place due to this and made ordering more beyond the initial window interaction next to impossible. If you're going to do something like this, perhaps have someone, or maybe even a sign, informing customers they need to have their entire order ready and scouting a table before you get to the "hostess" window. Service also varied from table to table. We ordered drinks, didn't get them until after the appetizer was cleared and halfway through our main course. We ordered coffee and it wasn't delivered until after we already left our table after dessert to pay. Yet the table directly next to us has the manager coming and offering them more food and wine every 5 minutes, giving them blankets, offering them discounts. Again, food was fantastic! But I suggest you only go right now if you'll never have the opportunity again. If you live in the area or will visit Mendocino again post Covid, I suggest waiting.
I very much love the dishes and service, great location next to my home. The workers are always very nice. Would recommend to others.
Came in mid day needing to charge my Electric Vehicle. They have a Tesla Destination Charger, and is available for guests, but they don’t serve lunch. I asked if I could charge my car, they suggested if I made a reservation for dinner. Deal! Spent next few hours walking the cliffs and town with my dog, while racking up electrons into my electron tank. Bar opens at 5pm, dinner starts at 5:30. Staff is super friendly and this Inn is smack in the middle of town near coffee shops (but they all close near 4ish).
A very charming place for dinner. I had very relaxing time reading my book and enjoying dinner. Wished I knew about this place sooner!
Memorable garden dinner with a very elegant and tasty menu. Very impressed with the service and attention to safety of customers and staff. It has been a while since we dined out because of Covid and this was certainly a lovely reentry.
