I was looking for masculine wood furniture for my living room. I made a mistake and bought a Mission style table at Levin...basically a laminated partial board table with plastic hardware drawers. Then I discovered the Amish Peddler. The Amish Peddler works with the local Amish craftsmen to CREATE custom hand-made works of functional art for you. Out of the wood you want. Stain you want. With you’re own custom measurements. And the cost for this was about 25% more than Levin (I ordered quarter sawn oak), however you are getting a quality piece that will turn into a family heirloom. The Levin piece I bought is falling apart. The custom piece I bought is strong and a piece that gets attention by visitors. I have a few more things to replace at my house. They will all come from here. And you are supporting you’re local economy and hard working families. Not exporting your dollars to China.

After searching for two years, we discovered the Amish Peddler and have furnished the majority of our home from them! They're a great group and we continue to shop there. My parents were so impressed that they had a table made and shipped to Georgia and was the same price with shipping as buying a comparable piece locally. Collin stands by what he sells. And makes sure every piece is perfect!
