This building used to be quieter, cleaner, had upkept landscaping, and weekly cleaning of walkways & common areas plus water, sewer, & trash was included in rent. There has been lots of tenant turnover the last few years. Most move out due to yearly rent increases, and now tenants have to pay for water, sewer & trash! It's approximately 100 more for 1 person, 150 for 2 people more per add'l person a month on top of rent, dwp, and gas! And if you barely use water or have children (they charge the same for babies/toddlers as ADULTS!) you'll end up overpaying because there are no individual meters! Plus there has been problems with property thefts (bikes, packages), barking, dog feces, pests, loud tenants, broken fixtures, tagging, littering, and we've had multiple managers who really don't seem to care about the tenants at all. I recommend doing the math (rent utilities vs amenities) and keep looking.
