Allied has a very impressive selection of both surplus and new gear for a store its size. The prices are fair and good deals can certainly be found here. Most important to me is the employees are extremely friendly and are happy to have you stop by. This store is very family friendly, I actually brought my toddler in with me and they helped keep an eye on him, and even gave him a few green army men which he loved! This is a very wholesome business, and I plan on supporting them whenever I can.

I decided to do a military shadowbox for my husband's birthday, an Army veteran. I called to see if they had some of the ribbons and medals I was looking for, and by the way...I had no idea of what I was doing. An incredibly nice gentleman by the name of Ben at Allied Surplus advised me to bring in my husband's DD-214 to further assist me. Ben, an Army Veteran as well, was so incredibly helpful in educating me about the correct order of precedence, and what they didn't have in stock, he ordered it from another store so that I'd have it in time. Ben went above and beyond and assisted me step by step with my project, and I was more than excited to share the finished project with him. Ben was so knowledgeable, and so kind. I haven't been on the receiving end of such stellar customer service in quite some time, and Ben is definitely one of a kind. My husband loved his gift, even shed a tear. I told him I couldn't have done this without Ben's help, and he wants to thank Ben personally. Thank you again Ben for being an extraordinary person, and thank you for your service to our country. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

I’ve been fortunate enough to shop at both of Allied Surplus’ metro-Phoenix area stores. I’ve found them to be well stocked and well staffed. Their employees (both veteran & non-veteran) seem to have a solid grasp on their military surplus items. I found the items that they offer to be of good quality, and their prices to be fair. Kudos to their veteran discount on Veterans Day, and 511 sale on May 11th (5/11).

I bought these patches several weeks ago. I want to know how I can stick these patches. Do I have to iron or do I have to sew on cloth? Can I stick it to velcro also by using iron?
