My husband and I were referred to Alyssa by our Doula, and I am so happy we chose her to deliver our baby at home. Alyssa was very professional and grounded. I appreciated her understanding of herbal remedies and her natural approach to prenatal care. With her knowledge and steadiness she made me feel safe throughout my whole pregnancy and labor. I would highly recommend her!

Alyssa is an AMAZING midwife and was such a blessing to have be a part of our birthing experience. She is so caring and stuck with me every step along the way despite all of the complications we had. She is so encouraging and supportive, I cannot express my appreciation for her enough!

My husband and I took Alyssa's hypnobirthing class when preparing to welcome out firstborn into the world. Alyssa was a great instructor and very down to earth. I loved the small class size. You can learn all about hypnobirthing on your own BUT I highly recommend taking a class with an instructor that has utilized this technique in their own birth. Her real life experiences really put things in perspective for us. After taking her classes I felt more at ease and confident about labor. She also had MANY great resources for postpartum care which I utilized. She even took the time to reach out and support me in my postpartum journey when I had trouble breastfeeding. My only regret is that Alyssa was not my doula! I cannot reccomend her enough!
My husband and I took hypnobirthing classes with Alyssa in preparation for our first baby. She explained the entire process in a way that helped ease my mind about having a completely natural birth (no drugs!). She answered all our questions and the materials she gave us were very helpful. I was able to use the techniques she taught us to have the natural birth I wanted. It went so well that I don't feel like I can really relate to anybody who has gone through \childbirth\ because I was so at ease and in control through my whole labor and delivery. I've had stomach flus worse than birth and I have Alyssa to thank for that! I use the fear-tension-pain mantra now all the time with anything painful :) Take her class! Use her! You will be happy you did.
