These guys must have a lot of work because they sure didn’t seem to mind losing our business over their incompetence. We told Rex over the phone during a conversation what we wanted then blamed us for not texting him so that he would have it in writing. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with Rex, he got defensive and began to argue with me. Rex is unprofessional and had horrible customer service. They were supposed to have guys show up this morning to begin the work. They told us this morning that they were behind on other work and were going to start on our pool in a few days. He tried to up sell us. Just horrible customer service

What a refreshing change of pace! We actually hired Tony and his amazing crew to give our 24 year old pool a well needed \lift.\ They were prompt, professional, thorough and wonderful to work with. I would whole heartedly encourage anyone with a pool need to give Budget a call. I know they did a great job on our pool and will give us any attention in the future if we may need it. We needed to remodel our pool. We asked for a couple of quotes. Rex is the guy that we had to deal with. He isn't very professional. We asked Rex for two quotes, one where my husband did the piping work and one where they do the piping work. Rex blamed us for his misunderstanding of what we wanted. Their workers showed up today and wanted to replace our filter, it was the pump that we wanted replaced. These guys don't seem to care much about the customer. They were scheduled to start work today and I had to be the one reaching out to find out what time they were coming. Their work crew fell behind due to the rain but I found out because I was the one reaching out about their schedule. We will take our 12k and do business somewhere else. Rex is not the right guys for this job.
I used Budget for a resurface, new pump, and new cool deck. Rex was always available when I had questions or concerns about the process and often checked in to make sure the work was going well. The owner, Tony was also friendly and helped get the pump programmed and startup chemicals in the water. Work was performed quickly and without any issues. Workers were friendly and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. The process was incredibly smooth. Price was very competitive. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if you're in the market for some pool work.
We bought our home approximately a year ago and got to spend one summer in our pool. We quickly realized that there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done. The existing pebble tec was slowly chipping away and the water feature/grotto was deteriorating. Once we decided that this was going to be our first big home improvement project, I spent hours upon hours of researching several different companies in the valley. Budget and Tony had the best reviews by far and after 10 different quotes his quote was by far the most affordable. He gave us a 2 week timeline to completion and finished before the end date he originally gave us. His crew was respectful and worked late hours when needed. We are obsessed with the finished product and are impatiently waiting to be able to use it! Unfortunately we couldn't afford to complete the entire deck with travertine this year, but we will be calling Tony next spring when we are ready to complete.
