We chose to send my dad here after his battle with Covid. He has been there for two weeks and is scheduled to come home next week. In our battle with this disease, separation from Dad was and still is the most difficult obstacle. Citadel's staff, has been incredibly helpful and most important...compassionate. My dad has had not ONE complaint. He says everyone there, from doctors/nurses to janitorial staff, has been so kind to him and he's even said he will miss everyone. You have no idea the peace that brings to his family. Thank you to you all. Renee (front desk, the only person I've had the pleasure of meeting) ...thank you for always being so welcoming and pleasant. Just your positive energy, allows me to leave with peace of mind. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I was admitted to Citadel after a heart attack and being put in a coma and awoke with severe tremors and unable to walk. I was there for about 7weeks. With a facility full of patients and shortage of staff there was some waiting at times but all the staff was very compassionate, understanding, and very encouraging for my recovery. The physical therapy team was awesome and pushing for me to do my best so I can be strong and confident when I moved on to the next stage of life ️

This facility was not what it seemed. My Grandfather was sent here after a procedure at the hospital. After being here a week he was diagnosed with covid but was not showing symptoms and they still wanted to release him to his 78 year old wife, after I pushed they did keep him for his quarantine period. That's when they lost him, physically lost him! He had breathing problems and vomiting in the early morning hours and was transferred by ambulance to the hospital but when we called the facility they said he was great and in his bed. We found him at a near by hospital where he was NOT doing well. Two days later we were contacted by Citadel to advise they just transferred him to the hospital and we can pick up his clothes, phone, and wallet. We got there and was handed a bag with his phone and SOILED clothes complete with the feces in the bag! I called and spoke with the Administrator who was just as disgusted as we were. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone!

THIS PLACE US A HORRIBLE PLACE. **DON’T NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. ** They will steal their belongings and even go through their personal items. Stay far away from this place. The treat you like dirt. Worst mistake we made. They yell at you and degrade you. This place should be shut down.

This place made me feel like I was at home after having a car accident I ended up with a broken neck and back. During my stay there they made me feel very comfortable and they were extremely compassionate. I spent almost four months there during my rehabilitation and all I have to say is I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. And last but not least I want to say with all of my heart I thank every employee that works at this facility for their time and dedication. Sincerely, Patrick Spangler
