Received my 1st shot for covid-19 today. It was a great experience, very efficient, everyone was very helpful, it was very quick and easy. Hi five to Mesa County health department. Not sure why the rest of the country is having such a hard time with it maybe they can take a lesson from Mesa County's health department.

Horrible front desk staff. I had an appointment and quadruple checked with the receptionist that I wouldn't have a co-pay and was promised I wouldn't. Appointment goes fine but here it is ONE YEAR LATER after my appointment and suddenly I receive a bill for the co-pay there wasn't supposed to be. Called front desk to ask about this and rude receptionist continuously cuts me off, blames me and their billing company and is absolutely not helpful. She first blamed me saying it took so long because I moved (100% untrue my address has not changed for 15 years so nice try on that) then when that didn't work she said it's both my insurance and the billing departments fault. She kept cutting me off before I could fully finish asking any questions. Basically I was lied to by them then treated very badly when I called to sort out the issue. Receptionist needs serious training on how to talk to patients and not be rude to the point I have to just end the call.

The company they hired out to test COVID specimens that are collected at the fairgrounds are terrible. Mako medical, out of North Carolina! They said it would take 3-4 days for covid test results. I am on day 6, still waiting on results. They said I would receive an email with my results. I have to call daily for updates. The person collecting the result said i would receive an email for my results. Its easier to track pizzas and packages than it is lab results. Keep testing LOCAL!

Savannah H (RN)is what Health care providers should model themselves after. She was very kind and informative. Bubbly personality made my son's shots tolerable. I can't say enough great things about her! She needs to be nominated for RN of the year!
