DES is no longer a helpful program for those in need, especially if you only need it for a few weeks. The money for this program would be better spent helping people find jobs. Just saying.

Depends on what time you get there and the day of the week you can spend your whole day there.
Charish is literally an angel! She will go above and beyond for you to get your case sorted through. She has a pleasant demeanor and a great attitude. I almost left crying because of how another case worker made me feel. I am so glad I spoke to a manager and was then assigned to Charish to re-evaluation my case. It was like night and day. People, if you’re unhappy with your experience I recommend speaking up in a kind and respectful manner. You have the right to get help and the right to another case worker. They really accommodated me and even encouraged me to file a written complaint. Remember, close mouths don’t get fed. Best of luck.
Worst office ever it was there for six hours and then had my interview was told my benefits are still on hold was there Friday it's now Wednesday still no benefits and was told could still take up to 30 days to have someone recheck the interviews work! Called and was told i could try and go into office but they might now be able to do anything
Got here at 1030 only 3 people ahead and have been waiting for over 2 hrs still staff are un helpful and dismissive and I'm seeing staff standing and bullshiting rather than help people un professional
