Due to health issues I have been in four different rehabilitation centers and chose Desert Blossom for my long-term care. I chose Desert Blossom because the staff goes above and beyond when caring for their patients. The nurses, nursing assistants, nurse practitioners, and doctors are all involved in giving total health care. The therapy department is exceptional at increasing mobility, strength, and overall health The administration, office staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and dietary staff all work together as a cohesive supportive unit. Perfection does not exist, however positive deeds are performed on a continuous basis. Desert Blossom is the place to be for me. .

My 82 yr old Mom, was admitted here as a COVID patient for rehab. The communication at this facility is AWFUL. The case worker does not return your calls, I even left a message for Scott the Executive Director and here it is 2 weeks out and no return call. It has been very difficult during this time to find out information on the status on my mom. The Executive Director at her assisted living facility even tried to call and they did not return her call! When I asked the Nurse about PT they could not get into PT files to find any info that I had to call PT. I called PT and Left 2 messages and of course NO RETURN PHONE CALL! I understand this is a different time due to COVID however, these facilities need to understand that the patients families also have a right/need to know the progress of their loved ones. There are 2 Nurses there AJ and Romey who were VERY helpful. If it wasn't for them I would not of know any specifics about my mom. VERY DISAPPOINTED. When family are not able to visit their loved ones alot of issues do not get resolved. I'm wondering where the accountability is? I can't speak for the service there as we are not able to go in. The main issues is the communication of the facility.

My mother stayed here to get stronger from her cancer. She felt very comfortable with the staff. The therapy team was very understanding of her condition and encouraging. Romy was a great nurse that made her feel at home. If any concerns came up, staff were on top of it. I had an overall great experience with Desert Blossom!

Love this facility! Beautiful enormous shaded patio out front with several chairs and summer-couches, great for family visits! Nurses are super caring and facility is squeaky clean!

The worst facility. My family member was transferred here and the experience has not been good. The nurses attempt to give him medicine prescribed to other patients and there is no plan of care to get him better. The doctor rarely comes by and the staff does not appear to be concerned or competent. Lastly, the food is terrible.
