I’ve been in AYSO from U-8 U-10 twice and just finished U-12. It may not be well run, but it is very fun, and the coaches for U-12 and up are very serious about the game. I’m sure that if your child wants to have fun and make friends while trying to do their best, AYSO is the best.

My kids have played for years in 503 and we have never had an issue with anyone there. Everything is well run and their coaches have always been well trained it seemed and games have always gone off without a hitch. I read another review on here claiming that the season was delayed last year because of weather...i think if that parent did any research at all or volunteered like he claimed to have he would have known the City of Mesa had closed the fields for light upgrades at several parks in the area. The information was passed to me and other parents by their coaches and emails that went out from the commissioner...if you ask me in all the years we've played there i think it was their best job dealing with the situation they were dealt. It was only delayed by 2 weeks. I would suggest anyone looking to have their kids play learn and enjoy the game of soccer they do it here if they live in the area.

We paid the registration fee and now cannot get a hold of anyone and we can't get a refund of our money. I've written numerous times and I can't find a phone number to call. You'd be better served signing up for the Ahwatukee AYSO league and driving the extra time. This league is not well run.

2/6/2015 I don't rate a whole lot of businesses but have to express I can not imagine a worst run organization. I've coached for years, been a parent on the sidelines and even volunteered on the the board of directors for a youth soccer league. AYSO is by far the worst run organization I've ever been involved with. Last year was a disaster but the league kept blaming it on all the weather challenges for the year and I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. Well now year two is ready to start. My child is supposed to have their first game in the morning and an coach is still not assigned, no team, no game time, etc. The league is an absolute disaster. Communicate is horrible, the ability to reach a human is impossible and I've demanded a refund immediately. I assume someone somewhere has to be accountable for this league to I write this review but what a joke.

No complaints here. All my kids and all their friends grew up playing soccer in Region 503. Great program, great volunteers, & great organization for teaching kids how to be great people by using a soccer ball as the tool. AYSO gives parents a chance to be involved as a volunteer. It's great being involved at the ages that you can. You won't go wrong with AYSO Region 503 and will have the smiles on your kids' faces to prove it! fyi- It's no longer called Dobson Area soccer. Just AYSO 503. (SW Mesa)
