Sharing on behalf of my dad... My story begins about 10 years ago. I found myself in the hospital with a limp arm and chest pain. After a myriad of inconclusive tests and no answers as to what happened to me, I was ready to check myself out. As I was gathering my belongings, Dr. Hani Shennib came to my room and said, Mr. Kish, I know what’s wrong with you and I’m going to fix it. With a stent placed into my subclavian artery, he saved my life. Fast forward 10 years and yearly follow up appointments/ultrasounds, Dr. Shennib noticed my legs didn’t look quite right and asked me to make an appointment for a stress test. The results determined I needed to have a cardiac catheterization to further examine my heart. I was in the steady hands of Dr. Heuser, who was able to see I had 100% blockage in two of my arteries and a third being 75%. Dr. Shennib immediately ordered a triple bypass surgery. I am 6 months post surgery and have never felt better. In closing, I would recommend Dr. Shennib in an absolute heartbeat and am forever grateful to his knowledge and expertise in the cardiac area.

My original introduction was to Dr Shennib was through my wife. She found him online my reading reviews. She made an appointment because of suspected carotid artery issues. He noticed some blockage but nothing to alarming at the time. He followed her carotid for a couple of years then decided it was time to go up and investigate and stent if necessary. She did have a stent. I met him during her recovery. A year later I had a bicycle accident that hospitalized me for 5 days. Since the accident cracked ribs and punctured my lung while on duty in the hospital he stopped by to check on my lung. Another lung Dr had already taken my case. We talked and he suggested that I might want to get my heart checked out since I was at the age that it might be a good idea to monitor if necessary. That was 2012, I was 65. I’ve been seeing him every since at least once a year and maybe twice if I had issues. He scheduled the customary sonogram and added a stress test. The stress test indicated that my heart was sound but I had a widow maker in on one of my arteries. The next week I was in for a heart Cath. I’m now the proud owner of a LAD stent. I credit Dr Shennib for watching over me and taking action when necessary. You can’t go wrong with Dr Shennib as a cardiologist. If you 60 it’s probably a good idea to have someone keep an eye on the ticker.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shennib and his staff! In June of 2011 Dr. Shennib performed open heart surgery on me to repair an ascending aortic aneurysm. As I write this review, it's now been 8 years and many echos (ultrasounds) later with him and my regular cardiologist. Dr Shennib's work has stood the test of time and I will be forever grateful that he saved my life. Dr. Shennib and his staff are true professionals who treat their patients with respect and compassion. My only advice to new patients is that they understand and respect the fact that because Dr. Shennib is such an accomplished, and sought after surgeon, his staff occasionally has to push back or reschedule appointments when he has to go in to do an emergency surgery. It's a small price to pay for receiving such top notch care and knowing that he is saving another person's life at the same time. I honestly never expected to live this long after the discovery of my aneurysm, but I can say with 100% confidence that the main factor behind my survival is Dr. Shennib's skill as a surgeon. He is straight forward, but not arrogant and dismissive like some in the medical profession. I've dealt with a lot of doctors and surgeons over the years and Dr. Shennib is among the best I've ever encountered.

In 2011 Dr. Shennib saved my life. I needed emergency surgery for an aortic dissection and after being turned down by other surgeons Dr. Shennib agreed to do the surgery. My chances of surviving was 1%. Well I am still here. This review is one small way to repay Dr. Shennib. John Kressaty

This doctor is very caring and he is an excellent surgeon. He helped a patient I know greatly. He is now able to walk more than 100 feet without the huge pain in both his calves. I would recommend this doctor without hesitation. He takes time to answer questions, give alternative treatments and the risks involved. No hesitation to get my highest marks.
