Im a kid in 7th grade at Akimel middle school and i went here in kindergarten and this place is great
like
I went here for elementary school and my daughter currently attends this school. She is now in 5th grade and has been going there since kindergarten. Their curriculum is a little stricter than other mesa public schools. but that is one of the reasons why I like this school. They push you to be better and do better.
So glad to have found this school. My son has been here for two years now and he has grown so much it amazes me. He’s been to both public and charter schools in the past that just don’t seem to understand that kids are not made from cookie cutters. Thankfully, Franklin West has some truly great staff. They are caring enough to be understanding when situations arise yet tough when necessary. My son is not the perfect A child, he can be very difficult, but his teachers have been one of our greatest support systems. Thank you to all of you from the PTO to the after school guides at the pick up lines. We couldn’t do it without you!
We've had kids here for almost 5 years now and have been very happy with their experience and with their education.

BEST MESA SCHOOL AROUND! Both my boys attended a different preschool while waiting on the list to get into franklin and i absolutely hated them both (Lindbergh and Holmes) i was so relieved when we got in, and have not left! My oldest has since moved into the franklin jr high, which i highly recommend as well, and my nephew has entered into kindergarten. The staff at the franklins really seem to care, the curriculum is fantastic and the parent involvement is a critical aspect in the childrens success. I TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THIS SCHOOL! I hope we get a high school soon :)
