My husband just had lasik with Dr. Hammond last week. The staff was so nice, and Dr. Hammond did an amazing job. My husband sees 20/15 now. I can’t say enough about this office. My husband was nervous and they just made his experience easy. Will refer everyone I know to them.

I can see! Dr. Hammond and the staff at Hiatt Eye center are amazing!! I never considered having LASIK before coming to Hiatt Eye Center. Prior to surgery I had resigned myself to a life dependent on glasses, only because I thought that I would never be able to afford LASIK, and with my vision only being about -2.00 in both eyes, I thought it wasn't worth it for me; I was completely wrong! The wonderful staff at Hiatt Eye Center helped me realize that I deserve a life independent of glasses and that it is not as much out of reach as I once thought. I had a fantastic experience at Hiatt Eye Center and Dr. Hammond and the rest of the staff made me feel more cared for than I ever have at any other medical or eye office. I now have 20/15 vision and I am so grateful that I will be able to play with my nieces and nephews and see my baby girl's smiling face without fumbling around looking for my glasses.

We first visited this office because it was listed under our insurance-covered options. When we reached Medicare age, we opted to stay just where we were. Since that time, Dr. Hiatt has operated on both my husband and me for cataract removal. I can't tell you how pleased we are. After almost 38 years of marriage, we're finally looking at each other with nearly perfect eyes! Thank you Dr. Hiatt! Your competence and expertise shine in our eyes. Your office staff is so friendly and courteous it's a pleasure to come in!

Not a good experience. I waited 30 minutes for my appt despite being told repeatedly to show up 30 minutes early to fill out the paperwork that took 5 minutes. They charge a 60 something charge for contact fitting...which insurance doesn't cover and they screwed up my contact lense order. I tried to contact them and left repeated messages for their contact lense people. It took over a week of repeat messages for them to call me. Now I had to contact them again because the contact lenses are uncomfortable. I left two messages a week ago and another today.... I would not advise going here.
