Interesting concept. Service was pretty good. I got a half salad and half white rice bowl with steak, 1 soft egg, steamed veggies, and pickles, topped with black pepper sauce. The steak was cooked almost perfectly. The veggies and pickles were good. The soft egg on top was a perfect touch, although it was a dollar extra. The sauce and seasoning was flavorful and very good. Also tried the chicken rice ball and didn't like that as much as the bowl. I believe it's a healthy option, although the black pepper sauce sauce was pretty salty. Two bowls and a rice ball came out to almost 24. They were also out of the earl grey milk tea that I was excited about trying. Overall, I liked the steak and will likely be back for that as a lunch option and hopefully finally try the earl grey milk tea. :)

I don't really like too many Mango Habanero sauce on the top but sometimes want to try some new sauce, so just keep it separate so the customer could DIY but them self. /sometime forgot put sauce inside
I went to this place because the description on yelp is straight out of an episode of food wars. And although my cloths did not explode (thank goodness) when I ate here, the food was quick, tasty, and to the point. I would recommend going for some of the spicier sauce options for more of a kick.
I wanted to like this place a lot more than I did. I was hoping it was going to be like a Poke Bowl type experience, with a dozen different ingredients. Love the sous vide egg on top. Love the concept. Just wasn't as good as I hoped. Not a lot of different flavor notes, as I was hoping for in a "bowl" type situation. I had the steak and it was overwhelmingly garlicky. I love garlic, but it was the primary flavor of the dish. I would have liked to taste the steak more. I also thought it was odd that the steak was well-done, since it was sous vide. So again, not a lot of meat flavor and just a lot of overwhelming garlic sauce. I want to like this place. I love the concept. I'm going to go back and try something else, and really hope to change this review. Because I love the concept. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I'm going to go back and
I've tried this place a few times recently and they deserve a good rating. Everything has been very fresh, the rice is always cooked perfectly and the dishes are arranged beautifully for such a humble looking place. If you like bowls this is definitely one of the better places you could go.
So my first experience with this place was through ubereats. It arrived a little later than it should have which isn't really the fault of the restaurant so it was a little bit cold when I got it. The first time I tried it I really enjoyed the pickles in particular because they really nailed what a good pickle taste like, the meat was tender and the black pepper sauce was pretty killer, though I wish I had had more of it because the rice was kind of bland and a little bit stale. Since I saw potential though, I wanted to give this restaurant benefit of the doubt and tried it in person just today. The difference is night and day, everything that was good the first time I tried this was great the second time I tried this. There was plenty of sauce for the meat and I can appreciate the rice being a little bit more plain so you can take a break from it, pickles were just as good as they were the first time, and the meat was somehow even more tender. I have to say all things considered this is a very satisfying meal like one of the better ones I've had in recent times and I recommend you guys give this a go. I'm definitely going to come back with some friends. Also I want to personally say if you're the owner/staff and you're reading this, good freaking job, and thank you for opening my bottle of coke
My first time trying sous vide, it's good food. Texture is really soft. A little too much garlic in the rice neither me or my girlfriend's could finish our dishes because of the excess garlic.
Fair price, and the food is really tasty. They gave me a free drink for “waiting” for like 15 minutes. Very good service!
