I have a long history with Mesa Youth Sports. And it has been nothing but great to work with the programs. My son lives in Mesa and he sent a video of my granddaughter playing soccer last week. It was awesome to see her having so much fun and being able to develop as a young person. I continue to recommend the programs to friends and neighbors in Mesa. Gene Ho has been a great support to me and my family! Keep up the great work with these young people!

My daughter plays in the youth soccer program and absolutely loves it! I highly recommend mesa youth sports to anyone for their kids! A super fun experience and smooth process.

I had my daughter registered for basketball in spring of 2020. Covid then followed, and this season was canceled. The company has since refused to reimburse any deposits made. They will only issue a credit for a new season, because they already spent my money of course. Explain to me how that is my problem. This is not some thing that works for our family, and we do not want to move forward with a new season. So they basically are just keeping my money. Not an organization I wanna be a part of anyways. Since they are nonprofit maybe I’ll just try and write them off on my taxes as a donation.

So far we’ve had a great experience. We wanted something recreational and not competitive. Sports for young kids are so intense these days and we just wanted our 8 year old to have fun trying out a variety of sports. This is the perfect league for that. It is inexpensive and is a short term commitment. This is not a league for kids who want intense competition and a rigorous schedule. We are very busy and want our kids to learn the game and have fun. In the 8 year old coach pitch, everyone gets a turn to bat and field in each inning, and score is only kept in the kids’ heads, and you know they count! Yes the coaches are volunteers but we’ve been in more expensive leagues who also have volunteer coaches and it’s hit or miss with the skill and organization of the volunteer. Gilbert Youth Sports is good for us, maybe not for everyone, but we are glad it exists!

this league has been such a great experience for my boys and girl. We have 4 kids and they have all played for years. I have coached multiple teams along the way in flag football. I love that this league is about having fun and not price gouging families in the area. I appreciate how they accommodate teams when events come up like scout camps and things. We have scheduled games during the week and the league has been so great about providing a ref and letting us play instead of just forfeiting. Along the way, we have thought multiple times about going to a more “competitive league” but the convenience of this being close and the great coaches and parents we have met, as well as the great folks who own the league, keep us coming back for more. If you think your kid is going to the NFL (spoiler alert: he isn’t) then maybe there are leagues more suited for your needs. If your goal is to have fun in a low key environment and not pay a crazy amount of money, then you found the right spot. I have never had issues with rules changing or any problems like that. The league has always asked for input and stayed consistent in my book. There are always glitches and bumps in the road when you are dealing with this many kids doing all these sports. But I have to say this is a really fun league and I’m glad I found it.

I have both coached and had my children play for this organization. This is a league that is meant for fun, learning and respectful competition. With parent coaches and a good group of staff you get a good overall experience at both MYS and GYS.

I signed 3 of my girls up for the soccer program and we all really enjoyed it! My Husband and I got the chance to root them on while they brought the ball down the field at games and my girls learned sportsmanship, what it takes to be on a team and remembered to still have fun! Plus, they were outside being active, which is so important to us. The coaches were always so nice and always on time for practices. It was a great experience all around

We’ve been using MYS for our children’s sports for several years! Each year is a great new experience with new kids, new parents and awesome parent coaches who step up and make the sport fun and enjoyable for my kiddos!
