I take pride in being a part of Mission Palms. I am very grateful that upper management has an open door policy and makes you feel welcome with any conflict that may need resolving. I have a great relationship with my peers and have immense respect for my DON, Administrator and those they work closely with to run our facility. It's the best place I have worked at as a nurse. We are not micro managed by our DON's or ADON's. The facility is not a punitive place to work, you have plenty of opportunity to move up if you so desire, and there is always opportunity for overtime if you wish. Another amazing thing I want to mention is whenever we have had code blues, other departments come to help; PT, OT, ST, along side the nurses and management. It's really an amazing feeling that you have a solid team's backup getting in line to do compressions. I've never seen that in other facilities. I can genuinely say I love working here and being a part of this team and this family.

I am (and always will be) an employee at Mission Palms Post Acute. I work as a nurse, I am impressed daily by the closeness of the staff and patients. I have never experienced the kind of open relationships that I have with the leadership. I personally have never experienced with any other employer. As nurses we work a lot of long hard shifts...here I feel like it's an honor, I'm proud to be a part of this family.

My father was just at Mission Palms for a short period but the staff was amazing during that time. They communicated well with the family and kept us appraised as conditions changed. This communication is so important during the Covid Pandemic period.

I have visited a few different skilled nursing facilities, and Mission Palms has the best curb appeal. When you enter the building, you can feel the exciting and inviting culture. The nursing team is attentive and is being led by an energetic leadership team.

Great place to work, co-workers are great, schedules are super flexible, and best of all we have some of the best residents & patient around. I would encourage anyone looking to further their career as a CNA or a Nurse to come down and apply. This job will teach you to be a great CNA or Nurse, and to be strong in situations you can only experience in skilled nursing & rehab. A lot of the experiences gained here at Mission Palms can apply in many settings such as assisted living, and memory care, and can prepare you for anything the medical field can and will throw at you as you progress your career. Mission Palms has helped me a great deal in furthering my career and it is with confidence that I can recommend this to job anyone who is ready to be well rounded or is ready to take the next step in their medical career.
