Having moved from Chicago to AZ, I was looking for a church home. I visited Mount Calvary with my sorority during Sisterhood Month in March 2017 and felt like I was “home”. Nonetheless, I still visited a few other churches, but found myself continually returning to Mount Calvary. No other church could compare. I joined in Dec. 2017 and I am so happy that the Lord led me “home”. Pastor Wade is a wonderful Shepard who teaches from the Bible. He is also very down to earth, humble and believes in “keeping it real.” He is concerned about the well being of the church and not lining his pockets. He knows and loves his flock and is always available to help out when needed. Most of the members are warm and caring. Becoming a member of Mount Calvary has been one of the best things that I’ve ever been led to do.

This is the place to be. The word is taught, the members are friendly, there is children church and they are many outreaches. There is Calvary Closet where you can get clothes for the whole family, a food bank, men and women outreach mission, choir. A church where everybody is somebody. Come visit and be my guest.

I had been looking for a Church Home since I moved to Arizona in 2010 then I was asked to visit Mount Calvary by my Big brother Quinton Shorter. The smartest thing he ever did for me. I found the Church was very friendly and the members were very helpful and careing. And the Pastor David L Wade was the best I ever heard when it came to preaching. But my brother said he was good and he most certainly is. He cares what happens to his flock, and he is always there to help with what ever need you have. If he can't you better believe he knows who can. Yes I love my New Church Home and the members. But most of all l love God, and the Pastor he sent to preach the gospel to his flock.
