The elderly gentleman is a very knowledgeable source of information. He helped me fix an old Meade ETX. Telescopes are his life. You can rest assured of a good purchase. Decent variety of instruments are available.

ASmall place with lots of stock. Great service, very friendly. Does many alignments and repairs. Much knowledge. Spent more then 500.00 and got a free pair of 10x60 binoculars with case. Got a great camera and DVR. Will come again.

I went into photon instruments not knowing what to expect, and I was instantly impressed. There are telescopes and accessories stacked over the store and a side room for for repairs that had a few scopes in it. Warren and Judy were both very nice and patient with me as I am a recent astronomy enthusiast. I ended up talking with Warren for a couple hours, getting tips and tricks to help me with my viewing. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to purchase a new eyepiece and camera accessories. My experience was very good in this store and prices were the same or cheaper than the catalogs. I will definitely come back.

If you have a sick telescope, or need to pick up a spare part or just chat about telescopes, this is a great place to visit. But call first as the hours are not 8 to 5. They have lots of telescopes in the store, plus lots of odds and ends, and you'll see quite a few telescopes in the process of getting healthy again.
