Worth going if you're looking for a school or wondering why Pima. Programs literally fly by and are fun. I took Phlebotomy, and the Medical Assistant program. I had Klock, and Lei Sean and both were AMAZING! If I ever needed anything even outside of class they were all there for me! You also get discounts for graduating and doing other programs as well! It's a life changer for sure and you gain experience like no other at externship. You also get a crazy amount of free food at school and site. All the starbucks you consume in a lifetime pretty much. Pima is worth every ounce of energy and penny! Just do it and don't be afraid. You'll fall in love in what to further your career in the Medical field! Made me pursue becoming a Neurologist! Pima changed my life and it can change yours as well if you let it!

I called the PMI East Valley Campus and I just wanted some information over the phone. A guy had a bad attitude because apparently, I was asking too many questions and he hunged up on me. I right back and asked for his name, which Carol stated his name was Bill. So Bill, you need to learn how to be patient especially when someone is interested in enrolling. I am no longer interested in attending PMI.

This is a copy of the complaint letter I sent to several agents to help me in my case... I think this sums it up best. part one On March 1st, I went to Pima Medical Institute to participate in the mandatory orientation for New students for the Medical Assistant program. I was a scheduled a one- hour class. This class pertained to rules of dress code and conduct for the school. It was also explained to us how the internet would work for us and how we would log into our classes to check on our grades and communicate with the school. Jenifer was hosting the class and she was talking to us about dress code. On the topic of hair, it was pointed out to me my hair needed to be “muted.” I asked what that meant, and they said it needed to be “normal” I asked what that meant, and she was agitated, and she stated it was a color that does not stand out as it is unaccepted in the professional world. I explained I already work in the medical professional world. I work in private hospitals and in clinics as a private contractor. She also said my makeup would need to be muted as they only allow foundation and concealer, nothing beyond that. At the end of the hour they held me 33 minutes after class and brought in another doctor to explain that it was their policy, not the law, and that had been in place since 1971 and was not going to change.

Dental clinic was a circus. I found myself to be significantly more educated on tooth extraction than the students, and I'm just an average person. The instructors were not on the same page. Insurance system was down and they asked me to pay cash upfront. And my favorite part was when a student in her 4th year asked me if I was interested in replacing my wisdom tooth with a crown? Yikes ... I'm scared for the dental future. At the end of the day I sat here for an hour to have a wisdom tooth pulled, they did the X-ray, poked around my teeth, cold tested it TWICE, sent me upstairs just for someone to tell me they don't do wisdom tooth extraction. Coulda told me that before you raked up 500 to bill my insurance knowing you had no intention of helping me. Selfish, narcissistic, and typical.

Some of the teachers act so Unprofessional and lack the skills for teaching. The teachers & admin staff are never on the same page. They only care about money and Not the student. It is a Complete waste of money!!!!!!! If you value your time and education Run from this bs place.
