We got there really early, before the crowd and it was a beautiful and serene river kayak float We saw lots of wild Salt River Horses and they're majestic and peaceful. I love this river! A Tomato Pass is required for your car. You can buy them at the parking lot kiosks for 12 if you forget to buy one ahead of time. I get mine at Frys Marketplace for 8. Enjoy!

This place is so fun! Kids do have to be a certain height and age as a safety precaution, see their website for details. Their are different entry points to ride the river and depending on where you enter will determine how long you ride. The longest trip being just under 5 hours depending on how fast the river is flowing. The shortest trip being under 2 hours. We usually take the middle trip which is about 3 hours. When you rent the tubes they will ask you how long you want to ride and will tell you what stop to tell the bus driver to let you out at. For 17 per person, it's a fun affordable way to beat the heat!

Lower Salt River is great during the week and the tubers aren't going and destroying everything. Won't last long. Cleanest I've seen it, even though there is still periodic trash.

This is a great place to go. Beautiful scenery be sure to take snacks and plenty of sun screen. Also there was plenty of wild life to enjoy and a cave in the wall to jump into the water.
