I was wandering around Mesilla and came across this shop. I absolutely loved everything about it! The employees were so welcoming and kind, and I immediately felt comfortable stepping in the door. I ended up purchasing the Legacy Pecan Honey Butter and I was so excited; I tried it immediately when I got home. I spread it on some toast and topped with blueberries and let me tell you, the tartness of the blueberries complimented the sweet nuttiness of the Pecan Butter perfectly! I can't wait to return and purchase more treats, especially as gifts for my loved ones. It's more important than ever to support local during a time like this, and I will most definitely be returning.

One of the first places I visited when I moved to NM earlier this year as I was looking for as many local places to shop as possible. The store, right on the plaza in Mesilla, is so charming and you can tell immediately what the place is about. Family, warmth, gathering...those are the things you feel walking in the door. Their collection of items is well-curated and features things you might not think of, like pecan oil, flavored coffee, and sauces. The pecans are fresh and delicious, I'll definitely be using them in my Thanksgiving pie this year!

Legacy Pecans is an adorable store in the Mesilla square that offers up local treats that are nicely packaged. It is where I head to when I need gifts, especially for out of town family. It doesn’t disappoint and so nice to know that I will find the presents I need there (plus being able to support a local small business always makes me happy). My favorite item is the pecan sauce!
