This was our first cruise. We went in the Carnival Valor. We had a great time on our cruise. I suggest finding one of the rooms towards the back of the boat with a double balcony. There are two on each side of the boat. Great rooms, double windows, and double sized balcony but the same price as other balcony rooms. It is quiet but not too far from all of the action. The carnival staff was great. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The food was outstanding. The service equally outstanding. The activities on board were top notch. We loved the entertainment. We were concerned as some people called the carnival cruises “party cruises”. We did not encounter this.
