I don't know about their vehicle batteries, but for many years, this has been my #1 go-to place for alarm and computer UPS batteries. Prices are very reasonable, especially for their house brand Big Dog. Service is courteous and reasonably quick. They accept your old batteries for proper disposal. Convenient location and ample parking, but only open weekdays.

Bought a new battery from them yesterday. My mechanic ran a test on it and said it was bad. Would not exchange for another of the same battery even though we have bought a hundred batteries from them over the last ten years. We will not be back.
Had one of their drivers almost run me off the road and then flip me off. Very unprofessional representation of a company. I’ll never use this company just because of this.
I bought a golf cart from a dealer in dallas that uses metroplex for their batteries. We were having power issues from the start. The dealer never once thought it was the battery and replaced so many items on the cart only to find out that it was the battery. I called metroplex to give the date code as requested from the battery and they said their warranty is only 3 months and they could not assist at all. I have not had the cart for 3 months yet however because the battery was dated july and am now technically 2.5 weeks over their period they would not help at all. The woman I spoke with really made me believe that she didn't care. I never play a victim and am in sales/ customer service. You would think there would be a little empathy but nope.. Regardless, everyone please be aware and understand that they only do 3 month warranties. Even autozone does better.. I would check out costco, autozone, o'reillys or even pep boys before going through them again
1st of all - I realize that maybe my situation is a bit unique, but also not all that complicated. I'm trying to buy a few deep-cycle batteries to build a battery bank for my van, that will be charged via solar panel. Looking for batteries that have at least 200 amp hour storage capacity. Because I live in my van full-time, I don't have a good option for delivery, and so I sent an email to Metroplex, trying to find out if we could do an order that I could pick up at their warehouse in Dallas. I got a response the next day, asking for more info on what kind of battery I needed. I responded same day, and never heard anything back. Over a week later, I was in the area, so I stopped by the warehouse, hoping to talk to someone in person. I explained what I was looking for, and the lady at the customer desk didn't seem to have any idea what I was talking about. Kept pointing me to batteries that yes, were deep-cycle agm/sla batteries, but didn't have anywhere near the aH I'm looking for. She didn't seem to have any understanding as to what amp hours meant and just kept pointing out batteries with higher cca's - which doesn't necessarily mean higher aH. Train your staff better. Respond to your emails. I would have spent 1000 on batteries here, but I'll be going elsewhere now.
