I started Film Connection because I wanted to start working in movies as well as television. My background was in TV production, basic ENG style of filming where it doesn’t very in-depth with lenses and F-stops and what a C-stand is, etc. I didn’t have any contacts. And so I really wanted to get to know people and branch off and get more work by doing. Before I knew it I'm doing movies. Since I’ve been in Film Connection, I’ve done one feature and two shorts, and I’m getting on another feature in April.

My screenwriting mentor John Raffo has really helped me whip my script into fighting shape. He had some really good things to say about how to fix some of the narrative mechanics and how to shorten it. He also really liked my dialogue. I’m really pleased with the feedback.
