This is THE WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL place to ever go to. The staff are rude and treat you like ANIMALS! No one is willing to talk to you or answer any questions. They LIE about their prices and services. Consider any information you find on their website a LIE because when you actually go there prepared with the information that you found on their website or even with whomever you spoke to on the phone IF you ever get so lucky to reach someone, they tell you that is not true or that is old information and things have changed. You go there expecting to accomplish something and you leave there so confused about what happened to you in there. No one is straightforward about anything and everyone gives you a different answer or ignore you. If you even attempt to ask a question they will ignore you or argue with you just for trying to get basic information. They just take your documents and do whatever they want with it without letting you review the information. I have never experienced anything like this until I stepped foot in this place. This Consulate needs to be shut down and all employees need to be fired. The Better Business Bureau needs to shut this place down because the way they treat the customers in there is inhumane and disrespectful. They are supposed to be opened by 9:00am but they are not and you see employees driving up way after opening time while people are lined up in the hot sun waiting at the gate like they are dogs. I gave this 1 star because I had to put something but in reality they deserve a -0 star. This consulate is an embarrassment and a poor representation of the Haitian people.

Haitian facilities are never really in order but this one is on a whole new level of unprofessionalism. Nothing on the website is updated not the time or the price for service, and when you get there the staff will ignore you, they’re rude and unprofessional. There’s no communication and no urgency in they work I renewed my passport 5 months ago which they said might take up to 2-3 months, don’t bother calling them they never pick up. I went back there 3-4 times hoping they would have it but they seem more annoyed at this Point I feel like giving up but I want to go visit home again this place is bs mannn\u200d️\u200d️

This place looks more like an ordinary house than a governmental building. The behavior of the employees is similar to the none sense you have to deal with in Haiti.ON top of that, the waiting room is tiny, just \32 chairs\ seriously ?,no parking area, you're on your own, security is extremely questionable, the quality of the service is abominable & archaic.

They're difficult to reach on the phone, nonetheless, I made the call and after some difficulty I reached someone and this is what I understand from what she told me. As of 11/2020: Renewing passport- 175 for passport and 25 for postage equaling 200 for regular and you receive the passport in 2 months. Regular is the only service available. No appointment needed. What you need: Old passport, 2 photos, photo ID, birth certificate extract. Comments: I'm not very happy with the wait time but it is what it is.

I really think they should close down that place or fire everyone. It’s been 5 months since I went to do my passport they still don’t sends it. When I go there because I have emergency they give me a document to travel with but here I’m block in one country for almost two months I can’t go back to US because of the passport. Every time I call they never pick up with they good manners. Hope they make they mom proud.
