I engaged NordicTrans to translate a birth certificate from Swedish to English. This document was part of my submission to USCIS, so naturally, the accuracy of the translation and the timeliness was important. The translation was sloppy and had a number of pretty substantial mistakes, incorrect dates, incorrect translation, even \birth certificate\ was incorrectly translated! The lack of attention to detail and the sloppy translation was really disappointing. Not only that, despite me pointing out mistakes, I had to go back and forth correcting the document 4 times, ending with me actually having to red-line the document so that it was correctly translated! During this process, at no point in time was I provided an apology for sloppy work or extended timeline. There are a number of translation services out there that provides certified translation. I would strongly advise against using NordicTrans. They are more expensive, and shockingly sloppy in their translation and unless you are very vigilant and willing to spend considerable time proof reading, you may end up with incorrectly translated documents.
