Miami people breathed a sigh of relief when Rio Cristal announced that they would be reopening and not closing their doors permanently. The dishes are large and delicious, from the breaded steak ro the famous Bistec Rio Cristal, a huge palomilla steak covered by a mountain of crispy French fries. The staff are friendly and engaging to everyone. Believe it or not, today I saw first- timers leaving and the wife told her husband to take a picture of the front so they wouldn't forget it. Winner winner amazing streak dinner!

We have been going to Rio Cristal for many years, I love the Palomilla and Fries. We used to live close by and we would walk to get Pan con Bistec. We stopped going because the place wasn’t clean. I’m glad they’re staying open for business!! But PLEASE CLEAN THE PLACE, make it more inviting. We would love to give it another try.

It was my first time eating at this amazing family owned restaurant and I absolutely enjoyed everything. Their Pan con Bistec (steak sandwich) was super delicious and their homemade fries that go inside the sandwich are unique to this restaurant. If you want an authentic Cuban dessert, please try their flan.
